House of Representatives Standing Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs’ Report – Harmonisation of legal systems within Australia and between Australia and New Zealand – Government Response

The Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee received a reference on 7 February 2005 to inquire and report on lack of harmonisation within Australia’s legal system, and between the legal systems of Australia and New Zealand, with particular reference to those differences that have an impact on trade and commerce. The Committee’s report was tabled on 4 December 2006. The Government’s response was tabled on 27 August 2008.
