
The Protective Security Coordination Centre (PSCC), a Division of the Australian Government Attorney-General’s Department, is hosting the 21st Security in Government (SIG) Conference at Canberra’s National Convention Centre from 16 – 18 September 2008.
SIG continues to be the largest conference of its type in Australia.
The 2008 SIG Conference focuses on The Evolution of Security in government today. The theme emphasises that security is constantly changing and that a flexible and adaptive approach is critical to countering emerging threats. It is also suggestive of changes to traditional ways of defining and approaching security issues and, it acknowledges adjustments to the security environment following the change of government.
