Secure Services Branch

The Secure Services Branch provides systems, services and policies to manage classified information on the Department’s computer systems. The Branch provides a number of secure information systems to various internal and external clients

Capability Development

This section is responsible for the delivery of projects across a range of secure systems, infrastructure and services to a broad range of clients.

Client Services

This section manages the client management for all secure communication services provided by the Department. This section also provides budget, finance, and resource management; and coordinates governance and reporting requirements for the Branch.

Operations

This section provides operational support and helpdesk services for the Department’s secure systems.

IT Security

This Section is responsible for managing and monitoring threats to the Department's IT assets, and provides IT security training to Departmental staff. This section is also responsible for ongoing development of the IT Security Policy and manages the ICT related security incident investigations.
