Draft letter to apply for a declaration by the Attorney-General as an institution assisting persons with a disability - October 2003
This draft letter can be used to assist those institutions seeking to apply to the Attorney-General to be declared, for the purposes of s. 10A(1) of Copyright Act, as an institution assisting persons with a print or intellectual disability. Institutions assisting the disabled (other than educational institutions) on whose behalf the Attorney-General has made such a declaration are then eligible to undertake copying in accordance with the statutory licence under Part VB of the Act.
